The single best sunset view in Luang Prabang. 328 steps up the hill in the centre of town — the temple complex at the top has the famous gilded chedi and a 360° view across the Mekong + Nam Khan rivers. Allow 90 minutes round-trip. Get there 45 minutes before sunset for a good spot.
